PERIODIC INSPECTION
The type of application in which the existing ATP certificates of insulated equipment in use are extended.
EXCEPTIONAL INSPECTION
This type of application involves the re-evaluation of equipment in use in cases where the existing document becomes invalid due to damage, insulation renewal, device replacement, and similar situations.
To distinguish between periodic inspection and equipment transfer for foreign documents, the issuance date of the document is examined. Documents issued before May 15, 2017, which is the starting date for ATP certification processes within TSE, are evaluated under the title of periodic inspection, while documents issued after this date are considered equipment transfers.
In this application type, the last validity date is 3 years from the inspection date. However, in exceptional inspection cases, if the remaining validity period is less than 3 years, another 3-year period is granted, considering the last validity date of the previous document.
Equipment that has exceeded 15 years as IR (intensively insulated) can no longer be certified within the ATP framework. They are evaluated as IN (normally insulated). Similarly, vehicles that have reached 15 years as IN cannot be certified under the ATP framework.
Documents that need to be attached to the application are as follows:
*Existing ATP Compliance Certificate
*License
